John Palmer Fine Art
Gallery & Studio
Houston artist John Ross Palmer has been represented by art galleries across the United States and Europe. While he is still represented by a handful of prestigious galleries in the United States, the main bulk of his art is placed through his own art gallery in the Historic Heights of Houston, Texas. In May of 2008, after several years of renting a large studio at Winter Street Studios in Houston, Palmer opened the John Palmer Fine Art Gallery & Studio at 1218 Heights Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77008. This chic and stylish 4,500 square foot showplace combines a saved 1930's Bungalow with a museum-quality showplace for his vibrant pieces. For the past several years, John Palmer Fine Art has achieved international acclaim by showing at top art fairs such as Art Chicago, Art Toronto and in Miami during the Art Basel Week. John Palmer Fine Art is Open By Apointment Only. To make an appointment to visit the gallery, please call John Palmer Fine Art at 713-861-6726.

Art Chicago Sales Director Lisa Witherite says of John Palmer Fine Art, "Through all of my travels to major art galleries, I always make a point to visit this gallery in Houston. The gallery is a true addition to the vibrant Houston art scene and an important participant in Art Chicago. The gallery's presentation and professionalism are impeccable."
John Palmer Fine Art is a unique and non-traditional art gallery that only features the works of Escapism Founder John Ross Palmer as well as his students of the Escapist Mentorship Program. During this year-long program, talented artists work with John to learn how to sell and promote their artwork and career on their own and outside of the "traditional gallery" context. Palmer's art movement of Escapism as well as his Houston art gallery is built on the belief that through hard work, talent and ingenuity, the stereotype of the struggling artist can be forever destroyed. Palmer honors artists and seeks to elevate the entire profession by teaching artists how to stand on their own two feet and not to solely rely on business and financial support from the standard art gallery system.
